Kaapstad

"Kaapstad" well known as Cape Town, a vibrant city that will get right under your skin, whether its summer or winter.  My visit was in winter of 2014.

While walking through the streets and meeting its people, you will fall in love with its natural beauty and incredible spirit.

Cape Town is a city where the unexpected is always just around the corner and the beautiful province of the Western Cape lies ready to be explored beyond the city border.

The Journey

My journey started in 'Shosholoza Meyl' from Johannesburg to Cape Town through the beautiful landscapes and wine yards from North West to Western Cape

Long Street

If you are looking to stay out whole night, party, pub hopping then go to Long street. It is called the party capital of the mother city. Long street never sleeps and surely "I survived a night in Dubliner"

Table Mountain

Being a backpacker I was always into hiking and trekking, to trek Table Mountain was again a wonderful experience

Robben Island

There you can see from the table top is Robben Island or as they say in Afrikaans "Robbeneiland" is an island in Table Bay where Nelson Mandela was imprisoned for 18 years

Sunset from Table Top Mountain

Camps Bay- One of the beautiful beaches in the world

Silhouettes

My love for silhouette photography grew once I was on the top of table mountain.

Sealed with a kiss

Hats off to "Jeremy" who keeps fish in his mouth and feeds them to seals in Hout bay or Houtbaai harbor

Siva's Trail

Do not go where the path may lead, go instead where there is no path and leave a trail. -- Ralph Waldo Emerson

The most South-Western point of Africa- "The Cape of Good Hope"
